SHIPPING RATES & QUANTITY DISCOUNTS

An important note about shipping and glass coverage: In order to keep shipping fees to a minimum, we use US Mail Flat rate boxes with most orders. They are normally the cheapest way to ship. However, occasionally, some glass does break, since there is minimal padding with these boxes. This broken glass is still usable (unless it is crushed). If you wish to keep shipping fees to a minimum and don’t mind occasional breakage, this is a great shipping method. This shipping method we refer to as “Economy” in your shopping cart. The shopping cart will use this as the default shipping method.

All "Economy" packages are covered if they are lost. However, in order to keep glass prices as low as possible, we will no longer be covering glass that is broken in these flat rate boxes, unless it is crushed beyond use.

In order to cover your glass for breakage, we would need to ship in larger boxes with much more padding. This will cost you more to ship. If you wish us to ship your glass in larger boxes, and cover you for possible breakage, please choose that option when you check out in the shopping cart. This option to cover breakage is called “Priority” in the shopping cart.

Economy and Priority take equal lengths of shipping time to reach you.

One more note: We were shipping up to 3 lbs of glass in PVC tubes and then putting them in Flat Rate envelopes for $6. This isn't working out. Glass is getting broken. So we will only do this with 1 lb of glass or less. All others will have to go in a box which will raise shipping fees. Sorry about that.

Here is a general calculation for "Economy" shipping our glass and other supplies. We will do our best to choose the cheapest rate for you. Shipping rates may vary, especially since we've added on so many new items that change our shipping techniques. If you have any questions, be sure to contact us.

Domestic Shipping Fees & Quantity Discounts: If you purchase MORE than 40 lbs of glass, shipping will be $30, regardless of the quantity of glass over 40 pounds. US Shipments only. If you purchase MORE than 100 lbs of glass, please see wholesale pricing.

The best amount to ship domestically for the best per pound rate is in 20 lb. increments. Each 20 lbs will come in a flat rate box and will be insured.

1 pound of glass: $6. You will receive 8 - 12 inch rods. This is sent in PVC tubes enclosed in a flat rate envelope, so the rods have to be a bit shorter. THIS SIZE PACKAGE IS NOT INSURABLE FOR LOSS OR DAMAGE AND NOT THE SAFEST FOR THE GLASS! SHIPPING HAS BEEN VERY SUCCESSFUL THIS WAY.

We no longer ship more than one pound in flat rate envelopes. Sorry. Just not working out.

1+ - 7 pounds: $10 total, regardless of how many pounds up to 7. You will receive 8 - 13 inch rods. FLAT RATE PRIORITY MAIL BOX, TRACKED AND INSURED. VERY SAFE SHIPPING.

7+ - 20 pounds: $15 total, for the entire shipment, regardless of how many pounds up to 20. You will receive 8 - 13 inch rods. FLAT RATE PRIORITY MAIL BOX, TRACKED AND INSURED. VERY SAFE SHIPPING.

New box after 20 lbs. Each 20 lbs of glass is $15 to ship. Maximum domestic shipping charges are $30. We pay the rest after that. Please go to www.usps.com for shipping rates.

International Shipping Fees & Quantity Discounts:

For international orders over 40 lbs, please contact us for a discount. For orders 100 lbs and over, please see our wholesale pricing.

The best amount to ship internationally for the best per pound (lb) rate is in 18 lb. (8.2kg) increments. Each 18 lbs will come in a flat rate box and will be insured.

For international buyers. The shopping cart that we use only calculates shipping up to a maximum of 3 boxes of glass (54 lbs). Should you purchase additional glass, we will bill you for the remaining shipping fees. A rate of $44 per 18 lb. box shall apply. A glass discount will also apply after 40 lbs.

2.5+ - 18 lbs (2.3kg to 8.2kg) is $44 FLAT RATE PRIORITY MAIL BOX. TRACKING AND INSURANCE IS INCLUDED IN THIS COST. SHIPPING SUCCESS IS EXCELLENT.

Shipping Fees to Canada and Mexico: The best amount to ship to Canada or Mexico is in 18 lb. (8.2kg) increments. Each 18 lbs will come in a flat rate box and will be insured. The shopping cart may not always properly calculate shipping fees to Canada and Mexico. It may charge you regular International rates above. We will make an adjustment and refund the difference if this happens.

One note: Shipping fees to Canada and Mexico may be calculated higher by our cart. We will refund the difference.

Other Shipping Fees: International shipping fees will always calculate by the cart at $14 for weights under 2.5 lbs (1.14kg). However, certain items will ship for less. We will refund the difference. We apologize for this inconvenience, but it's a shopping cart issue that cannot be resolved at this time. Here are some shipping rates for smaller international packages:

1 oz. - $1.44

2 oz. - $ 2.28

For each additional ounce, please add $0.84. Weight of packing material will add to the expense.

Our Guarantee: If for any reason you are dissatisfied with any of our products, please return them for a prompt refund. We do NOT charge a restocking fee. However, we do not cover shipping fees or losses from damage back to us in the mail. Please pack the products well and insure the packages.
